WHERE DID YOU GO?

I'm still here! Working like a crazy person!

Adding some new things to the menu, taking some that I didn't feel work well.

**Farmer's Markets in June**

Currently looking at one on Friday in Dartmouth, MA and one in North Easton, MA on Saturday. Will be fun to meet people in person! Many new items for the summer include a whole line of tea cakes, inspired by my wheat infested melt down in Boston. With an English friend's (actually a couple of them!) guidance, I am sure we will be 'spot on'. Tally Ho!

Easter is quickly approaching. I didn't have time to update the website, but the macaroons are a big hit. If you happen to read this and need some for Passover, give me a call at 508-697-1691. The name is Karin and I can get them to you with 48 hour notice. Why so long? I actually 'sweeten' my own coconut. Do you know the coconut in the store contains glycol? Yes, so I would like to make you a macaroon that your friends will envy. And they are gluten free! But anyone can eat them. And no one will notice.

So yes, I am still here (where would I go?) and scheming for the upcoming summer. I also have a 'commuter cookie' in the works: an all in one cookie that will fuel up you bike commutes (yes, I am one too!) as well as car commuters. Any suggestions for what should go into it? Let me know with a comment!

Happy Passover and Happy Easter!!!! Karin

Happy New Year!

Wow. The holidays are over. Now onto the New Year. What is in store for the New Year?

Well, for the Snowflake, I can tell you there are some exciting things coming in 2012. What are they?

- Snowflake Bakery products coming to a store/coffee shop near you! We are waiting for our permit to be finalized to wholesale to stores as well as other fine eating eatin' and drinkin' (coffee) establishments!

- New Gluten Free items on the horizon. These include a very special Valentine's Day baked good and a gluten free Cinnamon Roll that doesn't look like a hockey puck.

- Cupcakes galore! We listened! More cupcake offerings will be added!

- Seasonal fruit baked goods- Local farmers take note: we are looking to partner with local egg, milk and produce suppliers. Email us at info@snowflakebakery.com if you have what we want! Very interested in finding a local cranberry grower that is small as well as a supplier of berries of all kinds and orchard fruit (peaches and apples).

- A gluten free sports bar. As a part of the biking community, feeding hungry athletes is a priority. Ever had a good sports bar? Neither have I. I usually force them down on those long rides. Hopefully by the time race season (early May) comes about, we will be feeding ya'll tasty bars of gluten free goodness...

Have you checked out our online store? This is where you can place and purchase a pick up or delivery order. Delivery is free on orders $30 and over. No over $30? It's a $6 delivery charge.

Here's lookin at you 2012~! Karin
